What glue/dental adhesive will adhere to my gum? I lost a?

crown, but everything came out, post and all. Nothing but gum there to adhere to. Yes, I saw dentist. He said I have to deal with it until my next appt. There must be something that will adhere to the gum, isn't there? What glue/dental adhesive will adhere to my gum? I lost a?
NO- And I would find another dentist-- deal with it untill your next appointment??? EXCUSE me it is his job to treat emergencies and his patients with respect and fit you into his schedule. What glue/dental adhesive will adhere to my gum? I lost a?
The chance of it coming loose and you swallowing it is not worth the risk. The glues are all water based, and they just melt away. A small area such as this, just is not much for it to adhere for long at all. If you have to do it for a few hours it may work, they are all basically the same, get extra strength. Let it completely set before doing anything, do not eat or drink anything, and keep checking gently to see if its about to come out, it may not hold at all though.
Not a good idea to put it back yourself since the post and all came out. They use a special cement not a glue to out the post in and the crown. You may do more damage to your crown and your gum if you do this yourself. I suggest going to your dentist who did the work and have him put it back in place.
It may not be terribly safe, but if you dry the area really well, you can use the tiniest dab of superglue. nothing will hold very well since you will constantly be salivating.
The dentist told you you had to deal with it? I hope you have a new dentist. You need to be seen ASAP.
Not a good idea to do it yourself! Go see a different dentist...someone who will make you a priority.
