How can i clean the adhesive residue left on my dash by velcro?

A small shot of WD-40 will do it.How can i clean the adhesive residue left on my dash by velcro?
There are all types of adhesive cleaners around and I'm sure you hear about most. The cheapest and easiest is still good old mineral spirits. You can get it at any hardware store of even Walmart. Put a little on a rag a bit of rubbing and it will come right off. Will not harm plastic or anything else and is safe.How can i clean the adhesive residue left on my dash by velcro?
You can also try rubbing some peanut butter on it then wiping it clean. The PB is a little gritty, and oily to get sticky bits off, but not strong enough to damage the plastic.Or you can buy 'goo gone' that takes off stickyness too.
Rubbing alcohol will get it off and wont fade your dash.
try soaking it with WD-40.
