Mayonnaise, works the same!I need to remove adhesive from labels on acrylic tub. Goo gone said don't use on acrylic tubs, any suggestions
THERE IS A PRODUCT CALLED ';GOO GONE';, AVAILABLE AT HOME DEPOT/LOWES. IT IS AN OIL LIKE CHEMICAL, THAT WHEN USED ACCORDING TO INSTRUCTIONS, WILL SOFTEN, AND REMOVE ADHESIVES, MARKER INK, AND EVEN FRESH PAINT. IT ISN'T SUPPOSE TO DAMAGE NORMAL FINISHESI need to remove adhesive from labels on acrylic tub. Goo gone said don't use on acrylic tubs, any suggestions
peanut butter ...put thick coat and let stand a few hours the oil from the peanut butter will soak into the paper and loosen the adheasive.... and the peanut butter stays in place it wont run and drip all over the tub
rub mineral oil onto it and let it soak in then use a wet rag to wipe residue off.
mineral oil will do it, with a little rubbing it comes right off. i use an old wash cloth for the ';grit'; to scrub it. that's how we did our kohler unit. you can get it at the pharmacy in the laxitives aisle, and it's got a million other uses around the house. door hinges, with a q tip, cutting boards, countertops, it's food safe and easily washable, even give or get a back rub for dry itchy skin. good luck, i know this works.
try WD-40
