Try ordinary rubbing alcohol first.

Then try WD-40.

If that fails then get some carburetor cleaner. But be warned, the carburetor cleaner can dissolve some plastics. I would test some on a similar piece of plastic before using it on your laptop.

If you want to be totally safe they make a solution specifically to remove gummed sticker residue. I don't know what it's called since I used all of mine and threw the container away. I'm sure you can find the product name if you do a google search. How do i remove adhesive left from the stickers on a laptop?
The cheapest way is to use rubbing alcohol and swap it with cotton after some time, but sometimes when you don;t have rubbing alcohol, you can also use deo spray, fundamental is use an organic solvent. Even spirits and full power bacardy 151 will do the trick
Propanol-2 is a good option. Switch Cleaning oil also works well. Let the glue wet for 15 minutes. Dont use nails or scrubbers. Use only tissue papers.
finger nail polish remover.
