Best adhesive for vehicle headliner and how to????

Ok so I have a 1995 dodge neon and the fabric has come off of the headliner/ceiling I was wondering what's the best adhesive spray to use for that and any tips would be great.....I have done this before to my father's car and it turned out pretty well but the insulation or fuzzy crap that falls down on you when you so much as touch it was missing on his so do you have tips for this do I scrape it off or just spray adhesive directly on to the stuff?????Best adhesive for vehicle headliner and how to????
Best bet is to use a vacuum cleaner on it first... suck the dry rotted foam off before you spray the adhesive. Spraying it on loose foam will just cause it to sag in those areas... whats left over should be OK to adhere to

I have used multi-purpose adhesive spray and it works okay, however upholstery shops can replace it for about $130 bucks. Just spray the adhesive right on the insulation stuff, let it get tacky and stretch the cloth back into place.
ABSOLUTELY DON'T SPRAY ON TOP OF THE OLD ROTTED FOAM. I HAVE USED 3-M 8080 ADHESIVE SPRAY WITH GOOD RESULTS WITH NEW HEADLINER MATERIAL.
