we have taken up the vinyl flooring and scraped with the scraper as well as using an adhesive remover on the entire floor. yet it remains slightly sticky. should we do the adhesive remover liquid again or can we go ahead and begin putting down the ceramic tiles?Does all the adhesive need to be removed before installing ceramic tiles?

I think you have to put down an underlayment before you put down ceramic tile, so it wouldn't matter if all the glue is gone.
