I want to put a stone chair rail molding on the edge of a countertop on a piece of 1x2 wood. What adhesive?

gripfill or gravitex.there essentially the same its a contact adhesive,you just need to do the usual and make sure the surfaces are clean and free from oils/wax ETCI want to put a stone chair rail molding on the edge of a countertop on a piece of 1x2 wood. What adhesive?
weld-wood contact cement. coat the rail where it makes contact with the counter, then coat the counter where it makes contact with the rail. allow to fully dry. then place the rail EXACTLY into position. you can not adjust the position AT ALL. when the 2 coated surfaces make contact they are welded there. so put it in place right the FIRST time. no second chance.I want to put a stone chair rail molding on the edge of a countertop on a piece of 1x2 wood. evo-stik contact adhesive but gives off fumes or no more nails in a tube apply no nail glue to 2x1 then place moulding taking care for accuracy could use cellotape or masking tape to hold in place for short time.
You can't go wrong with Gorilla glue, That stuff is strong and an awesome glue.
Try 'no more nails', Its a glue and is as strong as using nails!
