i dont know but i used gorilla glue and that stuff worked great. What brand/type of adhesive do shoe repair stores use to re-attach the sole of a boot?
Shoe Goo. You can usually find it in a Target or Walmart.
contact cement same glue used on tiles I worked at a prostetics lab it works just fine.
I've used Contact Cement, which works good for some lightweight stuff, or if its riubber to rubber contact. Gorilla or Elmers equivalent works good too. You just gotta let it cure correctly. The best stuff you could use if you want a long lasting bond, would be a 2 part epoxy, specifically one used for plastics. They sell it at Lowes or Home Depot, less than 5$. If the boot is a combat or jump boot, go with the 2 part epoxy, I have shark tooth soles on my jump boots and the 2 part epoxy works perfectly.
Contact adhesive. You apply a thin layer to a cleaned surface and wait about 20 seconds before putting the 2 surfaces together. The ones used by the shoe maker is usually stronger, industrial strength, compared to the ones you buy from the supermarts or hardware stores.
Shoe Goo is excellent
