I am making my own invitations for my wedding and wondering if any one knows of a glue that will dry clear and hold the sand to the invitation. I currently tried a craft glue stick but seem to be loosing quite a bit of sand from the invitation.What is a good adhesive for sand?
What a great, unique idea. I'd probably use a quality spray adhesive and a mask to block off where the glue isn't supposed to go, then apply the FINE sand, even pressing with a sheet of paper or plastic over to embed it. The mask could be trimmed in a wave pattern or be straight, etc.
I think just in handling you can expect some sand to come off, but stick glues are meant primarily for two paper surfaces and not always very effective for that application.

First apply the adhesive over the paper, then put the sand over and apply light pressure, then remove the remain amount turn around the paper
